EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 

The Imperial Council of the Ahura Grand Orient, Inc., also known as Imperial Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Masons, International Jurisdiction, Inc. (“Supreme Council”), a registered fraternal beneficiary society on September 18, 1989 pursuant to Act 176 of 1963 of the General Assembly   of the State of Arkansas, Arkansas Code Annotated § 4-28-201 et seg.

 

The Supreme Council is incorporated pursuant §501(c)(8) of Internal Revenue Service, exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes. The Supreme Council is the governing body, an autonomous self-perpetuating body, who possess administrative and voting powers not held by other members.

 

            Mission Statement

 

Organized as a fraternal beneficial society with membership having common ties and pursuit of common objectives to provide community-based support serves. Operate under the Supreme Council for exclusive benefit of its membership, which is the parent organization; and subordinate entities chartered by the parent organization. To provide a means of exchange of information and its practices and principles, to stimulate interest in understanding of community service, its objectives through education and direct action specifically involving our incorporated purpose.

 

          Vision Statement

 

            To organize the delivery of services, assistance and information that enables community residents to obtain education opportunities, acquire property,  real or personal and aid that is consistent with our incorporated purposes and to effect change in the quality of life.  

 Through integration and collaboration engage direct aid and support; initiate and organize movements for patriotic and humanitarian purposes; and join in such movements for such purposes initiated by other organizations or groups.
