Our Mission
Organized as a fraternal beneficial society with membership having common ties and pursuit of common objectives to provide community-based support serves. Operate under the Supreme Council for exclusive benefit of its membership, which is the parent organization; and subordinate entities chartered by the parent organization.
To provide a means of exchange of information and its practices and principles, to stimulate interest in understanding of community service, its objectives through education and direct action specifically involving our incorporated purpose.
Our Vision
To organize the delivery of services, assistance and information that enables community residents to obtain education opportunities, acquire property, real or personal and aid that is consistent with our incorporated purposes and to effect change in the quality of life.
Through integration and collaboration engage direct aid and support; initiate and organize movements for patriotic and humanitarian purposes; and join in such movements for such purposes initiated by other organizations or groups.
Jurisdiction Challenges and Opportunities
We regard Freemasonry as a progressive institution committed to truth, morality, solidarity, and human advancement. It is further, well documented that the practice and study of Freemasonry is fluid notwithstanding its Landmarks. The idea of the social contract remains essential, but we are keenly aware of the continuum evolution of Freemasonry to the Modern Era. We embrace this constant change by contrasting speculative practices with philanthropy, cultural and corporate influences to leverage our membership skilled trades, personal development, and community-based and charitable service work. Our lodge development concept model provides a pathway and introduces our membership to progressive integration and collaboration of all involved. We selected three initial orients to implement this concept through a three-phase plan comprising five stages and 25 measurable actions.
Orient of South Carolina
Headquarters - Each State and territory within the general jurisdiction of this Supreme Council, unless otherwise ordered by the Supreme Council, is hereby declared a separate Orient within itself. Other like Orients may be created and defined by the Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander from time to time at and over territory or countries over which this Supreme Council has acquired or may acquire jurisdiction, who shall prescribe the boundaries of each such like Orient.
Orient of Maryland
Our Symbolic Blue Lodges Warrants of Constitution, as well as our Ineffable, Philosophical and Chivalric Degrees are issued under the Imperial Supreme Council, Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Masons, International Jurisdiction, Inc. Cornerstone Grand Council, Inc. is a Maryland‑based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening communities through education, resource access, and direct support services. Our work is rooted in the belief that every resident deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of economic or social barriers.
Orient of Virginia
Through corporate oversight and meaningful collaboration, we broaden access to education by sharing scholarship opportunities and helping eligible students pursue higher education. Community Support Services provides direct assistance to people who are poor, distressed, or underprivileged, including resource navigation and relief programs. Public‑Private Partnerships (P3): Building collaborative initiatives that strengthen community infrastructure and broaden economic opportunity. Information Exchange & Capacity Building creates platforms where residents can learn, connect, and develop skills for long-term stability.
